I graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a BA in Communications. For many years, I have enjoyed working at St. Monica in kindergarten and as a substitute teacher. My work as a substitute teacher inspired me to begin earning my certification in English Language Arts. I am very grateful to the SMS community for this opportunity to grow professionally.

Karen Potter is the wife of a SMS alum (Daniel J. Potter) and the mother of two SMS alum (Mary Claire and Jessie Potter).
