Hot Lunch Program
St. Monica School contracts with Nicolet High School Food Service to provide daily lunch service for students in K5 - 8th grade. (K4 half day students do not stay for lunch.) The 2016-2017 cost of a lunch is $3.50. All milk purchases are charged separately; each ½ pint costs $0.25.* Rocky Rococo Pizza lunches are $3.75 plus milk. Ala carte items are available for purchase and range from $0.85 to $3.50 per item.
*St. Monica School participates in the State of Wisconsin Special Milk Program. Students may qualify for free or reduced milk, either through Direct Certification or by completing and returning an application found on this website, in the “Forms & Fees Day” packet received at the beginning of the school year, or year-round outside of the school office. How does the lunch program and payment process at St. Monica School work?
The NHS lunch program is computerized and works much like a debit card. Your family is asked to maintain a positive balance in your account. You may make deposits into this account using cash, checks, money orders, or via on-line payments. Checks are to be made payable to: NHS Food Service and should be hand delivered to the St. Monica School office. (Note: If you pay using the on-line payment option fees may be assessed at time of deposit.) You are encouraged to send regular payments to cover actual and anticipated purchases. Low account balance notifications are sent to families to help keep accounts current.
Upon registration at SMS, a family account is automatically created for you with NHSFS. Each child/student in your family is assigned a separate ID number within your family account. Their ID number is entered every time the student makes a purchase. Lunch, ala carte, and/or milk purchases will then be deducted from the family account.
Your family will receive your account numbers and log-in information the first year you are here. It should remain the same through your children’s years here. To access your account information, check balances, make payments, etc. via NHS Food Service’s Skyward Family Access, log in to www.nicolet.us, click on the “Skyward” icon and follow the prompts and instructions.

To file a program complaint of discrimination, complete the USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form, (AD-3027) found online at: http://www.ascr.usda.gov/complaint_filing_cust.html, and at any USDA office, or write a letter addressed to USDA and provide in the letter all of the information requested in the form.
